Gardening & Plant Care Verification Standards

Every houseplant troubleshooting article, soil amendment formula, and vegetable garden calendar must meet our strict botanical accuracy criteria:

Botanical species names and cultivars are verified against authoritative taxonomic registers (IPNI / Kew).
Soil amendments must promote living biological activity without relying on destructive synthetic salts.
Toxicity ratings for dogs, cats, and small children are verified against ASPCA and veterinary poison databases.
Pest and fungus remedies must follow university extension Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocols.
