Cressida Fairfax

Cressida began her creative path designing elaborate sets for British theatre productions in London’s West End. Working with physical stage limitations taught her how scale, texture, and light temperature dramatically alter how a room feels. Over a decade ago, she channeled that spatial mastery into residential interior design, consulting on Georgian townhouse restorations and compact Victorian terrace flats.

At The Nestiora, Cressida translates high-end design principles into realistic decorating blueprints. She champions the belief that luxury does not require runaway budgets—it demands proportion, intentional curation, and lighting hierarchy. Her guides dismantle fleeting social media fads in favor of timeless palettes, tactile materials, and rooms designed to look better with age.

Cressida earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) in Theater Design from Central Saint Martins, where she studied scenography, spatial drama, and historical architectural aesthetics. She subsequently completed her Master of Arts (MA) in Interior Design at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London, focusing on residential space planning, natural daylight dynamics, and sustainable textile sourcing.
